Harta-bg.info is a Christian electronic magazine oriented towards educated and thinking Bulgarians, living in Bulgaria and around the world. (In Bulgarian, HARTA-BG is an acronym for "Christian Apologetics for Intelligent, Inquiring and Active Bulgarians".) It is published and maintained on a voluntary basis and by the personal means of a group of Christians from various denominations. Keeping in mind our reading audience, the magazine is being published only in Bulgarian. The common doctrinal foundation which every member of the team shares is expressed in the Apostle's and the Nicene Creeds. In addition, we believe in the necessity of an individual and personal relationship with God and in the study of His word (the Bible), truths rediscovered during the Protestant Reformation. Variety and differences in our opinions regarding secondary questions are natural and tolerated, as long as they don't give birth to conflict. Our foundation purposes are: -- to enrich the knowledge of our readers regarding the Bible (its authors, historical authenticity, and teachings), Christian theology and the history of the Christian Church. -- to clearly present the Christian position regarding contemporary questions of common interest and of eternal themes, and to stimulate the beginning of a thoughtful debate on such issues. In addition, we hope to provide a platform for thoughtful, inquiring and active people who are excited about these questions. -- to contribute to the building of Christian values and worldview among educated people in Bulgaria. We would be glad to exchange ideas with and work together with Christian apologetic centers anywhere in the world. |
